The process
No pressure. No jargon test. Just a plan.
Here is what working with Nexus actually looks like, from the first message to the day you take something home. It is the same whether you are buying your first pistol or your fifth suppressor.
You reach out
Book a consultation or send an email with a sentence or two about what you are trying to do. Home defense, concealed carry, a quiet range setup, a build you have been thinking about. Rough is fine.
We talk it through
A real conversation, usually 30 to 45 minutes. We cover how you will use it, your experience level, budget, and any constraints. You ask anything you want. This part is free and there is no expectation that you buy.
You get options, not a sales pitch
We come back with two or three specific setups at different price points, with the tradeoffs spelled out. If a budget option is the right call for you, we will say so.
You feel the difference, if that helps
When a side-by-side comparison would make the decision easier, John can arrange one so you can feel how different products behave on the same host. This happens at his personal, unlicensed backyard range, offered informally, and it is described that way in person.
We source it
Once you decide, we order through our dealer network at the price we quoted you. For NFA items we walk you through the ATF forms and the tax stamp, and we keep you posted while it is pending.
You pick it up, in person, done right
At the licensed premises you complete a Form 4473 and show a government photo ID. For a standard firearm we also run the background check that day. For an NFA item, the background check was part of ATF's Form 4 approval. Then we do the fitment: mounting, zero, and a walk through your setup so you leave understanding it.
We stay available
Questions come up after the fact. That is normal. Reach back out any time and we will help you sort it.
The line we do not cross
A website can help you learn and plan. It cannot replace the transfer itself. Every firearm handoff to a non-licensee happens in person at the licensed premises with a Form 4473 and an ID check, every time, with no exceptions. Standard firearms also get a NICS or Virginia background check that day, and NFA items are checked as part of ATF's Form 4 approval.
Start with a conversation
It costs nothing and it is the fastest way to find out whether we are the right fit for what you need.
